I have written since I was a young child it comes very natural to me. Writing is like talking for me. The root of what I love (writing) has branched off into film scripts, songs, poems in the past but the one main truth remains. I have a passion for writing! I found out recently that it's in my blood. The co-owner of Funk & Wagnalls publishing house, Isaac Kauffman Funk, is a great uncle of mine 6 times. 

 

I had an epiphany that I can't stay away from something that seems overwhelming (writing a novel) and only do the branches of what I love most. Then I was told by another successful writer several years ago to just take it bird by bird. This suggestion recently resonated and I have found my true home.
